Low Grow™ No-Mow Lawn Mix – Clover & Low-Maintenance Grass Alternative

6 months in, and I am very happy with my choice. Friends are a bit taken aback by the nontraditional appearance of my yard, but it suits me just fine!

It's growing! Even on the slope I didn't seed tac. (I ran out of the seed tac before I got to the slope) It isn't growing well in the dryest part of my yard. I'm in Illinois.

The best, this stuff is really good!! I had 90% success rate in a large area of course with prior soil fertilization and daily watering until established.

Directions were clear and the seeds are sprouting!

Within 2 weeks of sowing this on bare soil, I already have a clearly filling in lawn! I’m elated! I tried for a year to get something to grow and this is the only thing that’s held up!

After our lawn care people talked me into a "treatment" program for my lawn we were left with NOTHING growing and a sandy base for the lawn. We spent almost a year trying to get anything to grow. Seedlings started to come up in 7 days and are doing very well. I expect to seed again in spring and am really looking forward to changing all my grass areas to a natural lawn.

When I prepped and seeded my lawn area and kept it watered every day, it sprouted in less than 5 days. I continue to water it for 15 minutes every day to get it established. I’m excited to see the results in the next 2-3 weeks.

I'm new to this lawn alternative. Im anxious to see some results. I definitely have a problem patch, 2 dogs and live in NC, so HOT, HOT.HOT. I will say that customer service is EXCELLENT. I fired of a quick question not expecting an answer and within the hour I was having a very informative back & forth. So far very good! Im excited!

The seed package arrived very promptly and the alternative lawn started to sprout within a couple of days. It's now been about 4 weeks since I first sowed them, and the lawn has come through very green but a bit patchy. I had to buy more to sow on the bare packages. This may be because I didn't fully follow the instructions though, since I don't have access to a lawn roller, and there was a period in the first week where I was unable to water the lawn and the weather was dry. Overall though, I'm impressed with the company and will try some of their other products in the future.

My goal in purchasing this seed was to prevent invasive plants from taking over a new area. I have grass and clover in colors as high as 9” and it has prevented the other weeds and plants from taking over. The bunnies and I are very satisfied.

Germinated fast (about 10 days) and filled in nicely. Looks thick and healthy, and I sprinkled wildflower seeds in with it so I now have a pollinator garden!

I am seeing some clover coming. We had a lot of rain early in spring, but very little since. Maybe I'm not watering enough. Very difficult to see at this point.

Followed directions. Water applied daily by hose or rain. After three weeks, no sign of any grass.

I followed the directions to a T. And nothing even sprouted. I dont understand. But the seeds are still just lying on the ground. Even after watering everyday.

After a longer than expected shipping delay, I finally received the products ordered and then some. I haven't planted yet and will likely wait until the early fall due to an extreme heat wave inconducive to a successful start. I live in Tucson, Arizona. I'll write another review in September. So it goes.

The red clover in the mix is very nice. Gives the yard some color to go with the green clover. Every day I see more red. Very nice.
