Pollinators Weave Connections
This week, Earthwise Seed Co. is proud to join the national celebration of Pollinator Week, an annual event organized by Pollinator Partnership to raise awareness for pollinator health and habitat. This year’s theme, “Pollinators Weave Connections,” reminds us of the deep ties between pollinators, ecosystems, agriculture, and even human culture.
Whether you’re planting a patch of native wildflowers or simply spreading the word, every action helps build a more sustainable future. Pollinator Week is about all of us and change can start right in your own yard, garden, or balcony.
Why Pollinators Matter
Pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, hummingbirds, and bats, are the invisible engines behind biodiversity and the global food supply. Nearly 75% of flowering plants and over a third of the world’s crops rely on pollinators to thrive.
And yet, pollinator populations are in serious decline due to habitat loss, pesticide use, climate change, and monoculture lawns. But here’s the good news: it doesn’t take much to help.
One Simple Way to Start: Plant Native
To celebrate Pollinator Week 2025, we’re offering 30% off our bestselling Pollinator Paradise Native Mix — a thoughtfully curated blend of native wildflowers designed to bloom through the seasons and support a wide variety of pollinators.

Whether you’ve got a full yard or just a few pots on a balcony, no area is too small. Every plant you add to the landscape contributes to a living web of life.
Ways to Support Pollinators This Week
- Plant something beautiful. Native plants feed pollinators and restore balance.
- Ditch the pesticides. Go chemical-free to protect soil and insect life.
- Leave it wild. Let parts of your lawn grow long, tall grasses and flowers provide habitat.
- Learn and share. Spread the message by tagging your garden photos with #PollinatorWeek.
- Register your celebration. Hosting a planting event or native lawn tour? Add it to the Pollinator Week map.
Change Starts Here
You don’t have to be an expert gardener to help and you don’t need acres of land. Change starts with one patch, one pot, one packet of seeds. It starts when you decide that your lawn or garden can be more.
It’s always a good time to plant something beautiful.
Let’s make this Pollinator Week count.
